Questions
Do photos go to your server?
No. The photo and the overlay are put together on the phone or computer of the person using it. We only learn that someone downloaded a photo with the overlay, in which format and from what kind of website they came (for example social media).
How do you count people?
When a photo is downloaded we make an anonymous hash of the IP address and the browser, changed every day. The same person counts once a day. We use no cookies and no accounts.
Can I upload my own graphics?
Yes, on every plan. You upload the overlay as a PNG with a transparent centre, and post backgrounds as PNG, JPG or WebP. You can also let the system generate them from your page colours. Either way you set the place and size of the photo, the person’s text and the button.
Can I have the overlay on my own website?
No, this plan has no widget. Supporters add the overlay on your page on our site, and you paste its link wherever you like.
Who designs the overlay?
You do: upload a PNG with a transparent centre or generate an overlay from your page colours. If you would rather have a designer’s project (from 49 zł), write to us at kontakt@nakladki.com.pl.
Does a fundraiser or NGO have a limit of people?
No. The page of a fundraiser or NGO works with no limit of people or downloads a month and never switches off for that reason. Photos carry a small nakladki.com.pl mark.
